College seniors and future graduates of 2009 are facing a dim reality. They may encounter big problems in landing a job by the time they graduate. This is so because employers are cutting down on the work force and trimming their hiring prospects in connection with the sour economy and financial chaos. Employers are planning to hire just a mere 1.3% more graduates this coming year than they did this year. It turns out to be the weakest out look in the last six years and clearly shows a sharp downturn. The big cut down on hiring prospects is already expected but highly unusual. In this light, the pattern of decreasing job prospects continues on for college graduates.
