People change career for a lot of reasons, primary of which is job dissatisfaction and slow promotion. According to most experts, an average person is bound to change career three to five times over the course of his work life.
Career change is often driven by a need or a want that cannot be met no matter what adjustment or improvement a person tries to incorporate in his work life. Sometimes, it�s because you don’t enjoy the work as much as you used to. Other times, it�s because you feel you are not making any progress in your career.
It is important that you evaluate your career once in a while to assess your career status which could revolve around healthy, challenging, satisfying, stereotypical or poor. This way, you�ll know if it�s time to have some career overhaul or make a career change already.
