The ever increasing fuel prices and the weakening economy, adds up to the daily struggle of a young professional or a blue collar worker. The world is simply changing and careers start to fall. Many left unemployed and nowhere to go. Others tend to make ends meet by working sideline jobs just to be able to survive the harsh reality of day to day living. This is the time when we think, what job can we get into that does not falter or at least is not affected with the rise and fall of the economy. Believe me, there are jobs which are high paying and are recession-proof, if I may say. Accounting is one. Accountants are in demand due to the fact that companies hire them to keep track and maintain the financial health of the entire workforce. As long as there’s business, there will be demand for accountants.
